Description

The Solaxx Precision UV system can easily sterilize bacteria (such as e.Coli) and viruses (like Cryptosporidium) which cannot be killed by chlorine because UV can kill what chlorine can not which is why hospitals sterilized their surgical instruments using UV light. This product can deliver drinking quality water to the pool and reduces the chlorine level required to 0.5 ppm regardless of pump horsepower or system pressure. It works with flow rates up to 120 GPM (gallons per minute) and can be used with variable speed pumps as well as single speed pumps. Featuring a high-performance UV bulb and a control valve that automatically regulate the water flowing to the UV chamber, the proper flow rate guarantees the correct resident time for water passing through the UV chamber. A manifold with a width size of 20 inches is already included in this particular model, Solaxx UV6010A, and already assembled at the factory for simple installation and guaranteed performance plus unions are also included for easy servicing. Its Power Supply is certified to UL 1081 Standard and shows system status using LED lights. The Solaxx UV6010A Precision UV System is useable for pools up to 40,000 gallons with a 120 gallons per minute of GPM range. Its bulb life is expected to last for 13,000 hours of usage and it requires a 110-volt power requirement.
