Beautiful respotration of the early version of this car
You are looking at a vibrant, fantastic addition to your American Flyer collection.
Here is an American Flyer 643 Circus Flat Car with a load of circus wagons. This is the pressed wood version.
It is hard to find them clean, and since this one has been restored, it looks like new.
Features for the flatcar include Plaskon pressed wood construction, metal trucks with journals, link couplers, and wood strip to hold the load. The load includes a truck, and two cages, one containing a lion and the other a zebra. This flatcar was a part of the American Flyer #5002T Circus Train Set. This version was made only in 1951 to 1953 and is getting harder to find as years go on. Don't miss out on the chance to complete your set, or add a colorful, vintage car to your current layout!
The flat car has been professionally repainted and the loads are repro. This car, and specifucally this version, are often quite rough. However, THIS ONE, as a restoration, looks fantastic. Has Flyer link couplers.
