vintage Greisch-American symphony model flute

Description

Flute measures 26 and 7/16 inches long and case measures 16 and 1/4 inches long. I know nothing about flutes,I bought this in an auction it was in a box I purchased with other items. So if you have questions odds are I will not have the answer.  I do not even know if it works or if any pieces are missing (It does not look like any are missing)because I would not be able to produce a note from it if my live counted on it. Also there is a rod that is in the case, have no idea what it's for or if it even belongs to the flute. Selling as is ! No returns on this ,so bid as if it does not work and needs repairs.
