Syracuse man admits he fatally shot 19-year-old during a Christmas Eve fight

Syracuse, N.Y. – A Syracuse man who previously pleaded guilty to attempted murder for shooting at a woman admitted Wednesday that he fatally shot a 19-year-old man.
Quess Williams, 20, shot Mikere Rondinello after a fight outside Rondinello’s home at 634 Richmond Ave. around 9 p.m. on Dec. 24, 2022.
On Wednesday, Williams pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in exchange for 20 years in prison. His sentence will run at the same time as the 15-year sentence he was promised for his plea to attempted murder.
